What is the meal plan?

Except for the “Special Awards Banquet” for Sunday lunch, which is provided by the camp, all meals are the responsibility of each Troop.

Will there be activities and free time we can use for badge requirements?

Yes.  Some, not all, of the activities will tie-in with badge requirements and there is patrol and troop time in the schedule for badge work.  While staff dependent we will be polling the attending Troops to see what badges we can best serve and how.  So you can plan, information will be passed along prior to the actual camp.

Are there accommodations for special needs campers?

Yes, we will be accommodating special needs by close-in camp/tent sites, and special transportation where needed.

What are the costs?

Total cost for the four days is $45/person up to and including June 1st, from June 2nd until camp $55/person.  Payment may be by check anytime up to sign-in at camp. Mailing address:

Strath an De’ Farm
145 Stewart Run road
Waynesburg, PA 15370

What accommodations are available?

The event is being hosted at a farm, not a formal campground, so camping will be to the rustic side with each site including:

  • A reasonably level tent site, shared table, (bring casual chairs), and a fire ring.
  • Porta-potties, showers, firewood, and drinking water are available near sites.
  • Specific rules governing the camping arrangements are similar to those at any public campground. Please do not bring pets.

Can we drive to the campsites?

For safety and openness of the facilities at-site parking will not be available.  For setup/teardown Troop trailers/equipment transport vehicles are welcome to go to the campsites, but during camp all vehicles must be in the parking area.   Also at setup/teardown the camp will provide transportation from parking to campsite for campers and their equipment.

Should we bring our own guns and bows?

For safety reasons, we ask that you do not bring any firearms, archery equipment, throwing knives or any other weapons.  All necessary equipment and supplies for these activities will be provided.

Even though our Troop submitted a release when we registered does each camper need to do one?

Yes, every attendee must submit a release form at sign-in or before.  Forms will be sent to the Troop in the information packet right after registration.
